Overview

In-Patient Cover refers to services rendered when a patient stays at a hospital or the private clinic. Coverage usually includes, Hospital Charges, Surgeons, Anaesthetists, consultation fees, diagnostic tests, physiotherapy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy etc.

Out-Patient Cover refers to services rendered when a patient does not stay in the hospital but visit the doctor or hospital for examination concerning a medical condition. It usually covers Doctors fees, diagnostic tests, drugs, physiotherapy, etc. Usually routine checks are allowed for a fixed limited amount.

There is usually the option to choose cover for Europe, World excluding the US or Worldwide including USA/Canada. Cover to include USA/Canada costs more as medical expenses in USA/Canada are higher than the rest of the world.
